Flavonoid Complex represents all types of flavonoids, as they occur naturally in fruits and vegetables that we eat. It protects the inside of the cell, but is also active in the body fluid outside the cell.

Phytoestrogens can have a dual effect, namely anti-estrogenic and estrogenic effect. Phytoestrogens can mimic the action of estrogen in the case of estrogen deficiency. Flavonoid Complex is a water soluble antioxidant. That means the body cannot or hardly store it. An excess of these antioxidants leaves the body through the urine. As a result, it almost never happens that you consume too much of these antioxidants.
The water-soluble antioxidants (flavonoids) supplement the fat-soluble antioxidants (carotenoids) and support their absorption into the cells.
